Since 1996 we have designed, built and developed — with the same standard from the first sketch to handover.
Urbeazul was born in 1996, from the hands of Architect Carla Duarte — the daughter of a builder, raised among construction sites, with the conviction that a project only comes to life when it is built.
The first step was a plot in Santa Cruz, bought against all odds, where a twelve-lot development by the beach took shape. Then came the first major client — Carrefour — and an intense decade of housing estates, homes, social facilities and service areas, from north to south of the country.
Thirty years are not made without trials. There were crises that forced us to reinvent ourselves so as not to lose the team, and a hard period that nearly put everything at risk. Each time, the company was reborn stronger — today led by mother and daughter, Carla Duarte and Rita Balsemão, with a young and talented team.
What has always driven us remains: to create value through architecture and to choose good places to live — close to the capital, yet with room to breathe and just minutes from the beach. To design, build and deliver homes that appreciate and transform the daily lives of those who live in them.
